F&N launches new and refreshing myCola in Sabah

In fact, consumer taste tests have been extremely promising with 72 per cent of consumers surveyed expressing an overall liking towards myCola over current cola market leaders while 62 per cent said they would definitely purchase myCola.
Leveraging its seven decades old experience of manufacturing and distribution of cola for a well-known cola player, F&N has gained in-depth learning and experience in this segment. myCola is borne of the same excellent quality and F&N is confident it will make an impact in the market.
In a twist from the norm, F&N has chosen to launch myCola first in Sabah and Sarawak, in a show of appreciation for the continuing support and brand loyalty of consumers here.
Speaking at the launch, Lau Cheng Yew, Assistant General Manager – General Trade, at F&N Beverages Marketing Sdn Bhd pointed out that consumers in Sabah and Sarawak will be the first to experience the introduction of myCola in its pack sizes of 325ml can size and 1.5L PET bottle.
“While the launch myCola in Sabah and Sarawak is a strategic business decision to help grow our carbonated beverages portfolio in this region; this is also our way of saying ‘thank you’ to our consumers here who have been extremely supportive of all our products.”

“Furthermore, consumers here are more inclined towards cola products and this provides a progressive market that continues to show encouraging growth in the carbonated beverages segment,” Lau said.
Lau added that myCola complements its existing F&N Fun Flavours range with all time favourites such as F&N Outrageous Orange, F&N Groovy Grape and F&N Sarsi, as well the lemon-lime flavour, Clearly Citrus which was launched last year.
“With the introduction of myCola, we now offer our consumers a complete selection that covers a popular range of flavours. What’s more, consumers can be assured of the great taste and superior quality of F&N that they have been accustomed to for over four generations.”
myCola is aimed at providing consumer’s with a larger selection of cola drinks, while helping to drive growth of this segment.
In conjunction with the roll out of myCola, F&N will be conducting sampling activities across various trade outlets in Sabah and Sarawak until early 2013. Consumers are encouraged to try the product via an exchange programme that encourages consumers to bring in an empty can or bottle of any other cola brand in exchange for a can of myCola.
myCola is currently available all major supermarkets and retail stores throughout the region in a 325ml can and 1.5L PET bottle, retailing at RM1.30 and RM3.10 respectively.
