John Fraser and David Chalmers Neave formed a partnership to produce aerated waters under the partnership of name of Fraser & Neave (F&N)

A new public company named Fraser & Neave Ltd. was formed

Joint venture agreement was signed between Fraser & Neave Limited and The Coca-Cola Company which saw the birth of F&N Coca-Cola Pte. Ltd.

An entire production line was flown in to Kuala Lumpur from Italy to cope with the demand for PET packages. On March 23, a ground breaking ceremony was held for the new F&N Coca-Cola plant in Shah Alam

A staggering 27,000 signages, over 5,600 coolers, innumerable point-of-sale materials, display racks, ice chest and fountains were placed within 3 weeks blitz across Peninsular Malaysia in the “Operation Red Storm

Shah Alam plant commenced operation. The former plant at Chan Sow Lin was used as the product sales and distribution centre

On July, the joint venture agreement between F&N Limited and The Coca-Cola Company was terminated and F&N entered into bottler and distribution agreement with the Coca-Cola Company

Hand-held computer terminals were introduced to promote efficiency

On Jan 27, D.Y.M.M Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong and Raja Permaisuri Agong visited and toured the Shah Alam Soft drinks manufacturing facilities

F&N Fruit Tree brand which produces a range of juice drinks packed with wholesome natural goodness of fruits was introduced

F&N celebrated their 120th Anniversary with a series of successful events

F&N made recycling history with the launch of its RM1 million Project Okara to recycle soy bean waste into agro fertilizers

The soft drinks division acquire two water wells located in Kuching and Bentong to assist in growing the mineral water business

April 30, 2012 F&N Beverages invested RM18 million to install a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) production line and supporting infrastructure at its Kota Kinabalu facility to meet the growing demand for PET packaged sparkling beverages in Sabah. The line provides F&N production scalability in anticipation of future growth, without the need for plant expansion. It also reduces logistics costs of transporting the products from F&N’s main Shah Alam plant or from Kuching while facilitating speedier delivery to market.

November 1, 2012 - F&N Beverages launched the new 100PLUS EDGE. 100PLUS EDGE is a non-carbonated and refreshing drink for quick rehydration with B Vitamins that aid quick energy release. B vitamins help the body to convert food (carbohydrates) into fuel (glucose), which is “burned” to produce energy. They also help the body to metabolise fats and protein.
